YES! When I read about the "as-yet-unimagined medium" I was basically jumping for joy. It's imagined! It's Readup!
Reading about Emily Dickinson's poetry, written on scrap paper, I'm reminded of the time many years ago that I read (and touched!) hand-written, super-early versions of Allen Ginsberg's Howl. The paper felt electric. Definitely magical. Definitely spiritual.
Libraries are churches, basically. Also, am I spilling my New Yorker fanhood all over the place again?
