WOW,WOW, WOW - this article just has me overwhelmed on so many levels. I will need to take time to formulate my thoughts, as they are many. I’m grateful to Gillian for sharing her message, one that is profound and important. Her comment about being a channel for the creative energy to come through really resonated with me as an artist. The fact that her message was killing her and our planet is daunting. I also want to thank rr because each day that I read an article or two, I’m left pondering things that are interesting and complex. My thoughts and conversations are more expansive. I will view Gillian’s art today - her message will not be in vain.
wow. i've heard of people who care so much about creating art that they're willing to die for it, but this article is still nuts to read. this woman was diagnosed with heavy-metal poisoning the same year she finished her sculpture of adam. i wonder if she would have finished earlier if she had been diagnosed earlier, or if she would have kept working until she finished, knowing it was killing her.
