LOVED this! Very inspirational. I am a passionate reader of things I’m interested in but that can become somewhat one dimensional. What has helped me break through that is joining a book club and now this fabulous rr app. I’m enjoying the diversity and feeling the expansion. I can remember when I was in college and studying all the time, I yearned for the day when I could read for pleasure. It is a joy beyond measure.
Reading has always been important to me, though there have been times when I read less than I want to. It almost feels indulgent sometimes, like I should be doing something "more productive," so it's so awesome to read articles like this that remind me of how productive it is to read.

Love this, shocked about the number of college grads that never read. I wasn't a huge reader as a kid, but it's made my life so much richer as an adult. It's also made me a better writer.
