      This is great journalism.

The researchers, writers and data-visualizers who put this together seemed to have a simple goal in mind: take something complicated (and important!) and make it simple for people to understand.

Taxes aren't my sweet spot, but I feel like I learned a lot from this one.

I appreciate the way they put this article and data visualization together but I still have no idea what to make of the proposed plan after reading this. I don't think they could have done a better job of producing an overview of the whole plan, it's just monstrously complex. I don't even know how I'm supposed to go about forming an opinion on this. Am I just supposed to be happy if it lowers taxes for me personally? One thing that I think everyone could agree on is that an overall reduction in the number of rules and deductions (aka loopholes) would be a positive thing, but it doesn't seem like that's the case here.
